The Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI)is a nonprofit trade association founded in 1953. AWI's Quality Standards Illustrated is technical specification referenced by design professionals and woodwork manufacturers to define and describe the criteria for fine architectural quality grades and customer expectations.
AWFI offers comprehensive, hands-on training for finishing operations of any size – from a one-man shop to a 100-plus facility. Our finishing professionals share their 50+ years of experience in the industry to provide each attendee with the knowledge and expertise required to be a first-class finishing technician.
Cabinet Maker Magazine has a long history of focusing on articles that are of importance to the small shop. This magazine should be considered required reading for all small shop owners.
